William Andrew Ogles IV, also known as Andy Ogles, is a politician and businessman who has served as a U.S. Congressman for Tennessee's 5th congressional district. He has recently filed 11 amendments to his campaign finance reports.
Ogles' campaign initially claimed to have raised $453,000 in the first 30 days, a claim that was later found to be inaccurate when the report was filed. This discrepancy has led to allegations of misrepresentation.
Complaint Filed with Office of Congressional Ethics
As a result of these allegations, the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) has filed a complaint against Ogles with the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE). CREW alleges that Ogles knowingly and willfully falsified his campaign finance reports, which is a violation of federal law.
